Product Backlog
The agile product backlog in Scrum is a prioritized list of work and estimates for the development team that is derived from the client requirements. The product backlog will grow and change as more is known about the product features and requirements. The backlog items are discussed, reviewed, and prioritized by the Product owner. The items at the top of the backlog are "ready" for delivery.
Sprint Planning
A selection of Story (product backlog items) that are "Ready" can be pulled and assigned to the a Sprint. The team with the assistance of the Sprint master perform the sprint planning. The stories are decomposed and re-organized creating the sprint backlog which is managed by the team.
Performance Tracking
Visual performance information with Velocity chart presenting the sprints results in term of total story points done. The Burndown chart expose the daily progress compared to the current sprint objective.
